We Created A Brand-New Exterior
Aesthetic For This Family Home

This Ridgefield, WA home needed a makeover to take it from old-fashioned to fresh and sleek.

The existing siding was a uniform red along the body, with cedar shakes along the peak. With the wear and tear of time, it had definitely seen better days.

So, we replaced it with Hardie® Plank Cedarmill siding from James Hardie, using a combination of three siding styles. The bottom half of the house was cloaked in lap siding, the upper half in board and batten siding, and the peak in cedar shakes.

We used stunning gray and black exterior paint from Sherwin Williams to really make the home pop.

What else we did:

• Replaced the front entry door
• Added black trim
• Painted the fascia
