This Home Became The Rock Star Of

Before the renovation, this North Portland, OR home was heading in the wrong direction – at least from an exterior standpoint. The stucco finish made the home feel heavy and dated, and it wasn’t doing much to highlight the character of the structure underneath. It lacked definition, durability, and, honestly, a clear sense of where the design was going.

That is why we started with stucco removal. Then, we replaced it with 7-inch lap James Hardie Cedarmill siding, giving the home a more reliable, long-lasting exterior with clean, intentional lines.

From there, we built the look back up with classical white trim to sharpen the edges and Copper Harbor accents to bring in warmth. New gutters completed the exterior upgrade, tying function and finish together.

Now, the home feels like it’s on the right track. The materials make sense, the lines are cleaner, and the overall look feels more aligned with the home itself. It’s not just an update – it’s a smarter, more durable direction that sets this home up to look better and perform better for years to come.
